What you can specify

The brief records the practical decisions that shape feasibility. LOORAH confirms what can be produced before a quote or schedule is agreed.

Handmade work carries natural variation. Palette references guide the workshop, but an exact color match cannot be promised.

Dimensions
Target width, length, drop, diameter, or other relevant measurements, shown in the unit you use.
Palette direction
Room photographs, material references, and color families that communicate the intended relationship.
Material and technique
Preferred fiber, metal, finish, or making method where that capability is available and verified.
Placement and use
The room, circulation, furniture layout, and practical conditions the piece needs to support.
Finishing details
Relevant edge, hanging, fringe, hardware, or construction details, subject to workshop feasibility.

Five steps from brief to delivery

Each stage confirms a different part of the project before the piece moves forward.

  1. 01

    Brief

Share dimensions, room context, references, use, destination, and timing.

  2. 02

    Quote

LOORAH reviews feasibility, variables, indicative timing, and the written quote path.

  3. 03

    Production

The confirmed specification moves into workshop production with agreed updates.

  4. 04

    Quality control

The piece is photographed, measured, and checked against the recorded specification in Morocco.

  5. 05

    Deliver

Packing, dispatch timing, destination details, and possible duties are confirmed.

Indicative lead time

A made-to-measure rug may, for example, require around 6 to 10 weeks in production. This is an indication only. Actual timing depends on material, technique, scale, workshop capacity, approvals, and destination, and is confirmed for each order.

What is checked before dispatch

Quality control follows the confirmed project information. It does not remove the natural variation of handmade work.

  1. 01

    Specification record

The agreed dimensions, material direction, finish, and relevant references form the check point.

  2. 02

    Measurement

Recorded dimensions are checked with the stated handmade tolerance in mind.

  3. 03

    Visual and construction review

Material, visible finish, construction details, and overall condition are reviewed and photographed.

  4. 04

    Packing review

Packing method and destination requirements are considered before dispatch.

Made-to-measure questions

Can LOORAH match an exact color?

No exact handmade color match is promised. References and room photographs establish a direction, while material and dye variation remain part of the process.

When is the lead time confirmed?

Timing is confirmed after the material, technique, dimensions, workshop capacity, approvals, and destination are understood. Any range shown before that point is indicative.

How are handmade tolerances handled?

The expected tolerance is discussed for the selected material and technique, then recorded dimensions are checked before dispatch.

Do I pay when I submit the brief?

No payment is taken through this brief. LOORAH first reviews feasibility and confirms the written next step.
